Operation Maintenance

Trity Enviro offers professional Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services, including constant monitoring, chemical dosing, sludge management, and operator training.

The Difference Between Owning a Plant and Running One

Buying and installing a well-designed STP or ETP is one project. Running it correctly, every day, for years, is a completely different kind of work, and it's where most of a plant's lifetime performance actually gets decided. A plant operated by someone who understands what the dissolved oxygen readings mean, when sludge needs wasting, and how to respond to a sudden load spike will consistently outperform an identical plant left to whoever happens to be on-site that day. Trity Environ Solution's Operation and Maintenance (O&M) service exists for facilities that want the plant actually run well, not just installed well.

What Our O&M Service Covers

  • Daily monitoring and process control: tracking dissolved oxygen, pH, MLSS, and flow rates, and adjusting operating parameters in response rather than running the plant on fixed settings regardless of actual conditions
  • Chemical dosing: managing coagulant, pH correction, and disinfection dosing based on real-time water quality, not a static schedule that doesn't account for load variation
  • Sludge management: monitoring sludge age and volume, scheduling wasting and dewatering at the right intervals to keep the biological system performing without letting sludge accumulate to the point where it starts affecting treatment quality
  • Equipment operation: running blowers, pumps, and aeration systems within their designed operating range, and catching early signs of mechanical stress before they become failures
  • Compliance sampling and reporting: regular testing against your consent parameters, with records maintained in a form that's ready for SPCB inspection or CTO renewal without a scramble to reconstruct history
  • Operator training: building your own facility team's capability to handle day-to-day operation and recognise early warning signs, whether we're providing operators directly or supporting your in-house team

Trained Operators vs Ad Hoc Management

A lot of plants that underperform aren't badly designed, they're being run by whoever's available rather than someone trained on that specific system. A trained operator recognises the difference between normal variation and an early warning sign, adjusts dosing before a pH swing becomes a problem, and knows when a slightly unusual noise from a blower is worth investigating immediately rather than waiting for the next scheduled visit. This kind of judgment doesn't come from a generic checklist, it comes from someone who actually understands the process, which is exactly the gap our O&M service is built to close.

How O&M Differs From an AMC

These two services overlap but aren't the same thing. Our Annual Maintenance Contract covers scheduled servicing, preventive maintenance, and breakdown support, essentially keeping the equipment itself in good condition. O&M is broader: it's the ongoing, often daily, management of the plant's actual operation, dosing decisions, process adjustments, and monitoring, that determines whether a mechanically sound plant is actually being run to its full treatment potential. Many clients use both together, since well-maintained equipment run by a skilled operator is where the best and most consistent performance comes from.

Why Trity Environ Solution for O&M

We design and install the plants our O&M teams operate, so the operator managing your system understands the specific engineering behind it, not a generic set of instructions applied across every plant type. This matters especially during commissioning and the first several months of operation, when a plant's biological system is still establishing and needs closer attention than it will require once it's stable. Our O&M service connects directly with project execution and AMC support, so a plant stays under consistent, informed management from commissioning onward.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide operators on-site, or is this remote monitoring only?

We provide trained operators for on-site, day-to-day plant operation. Remote monitoring and technical support can supplement this, but hands-on operation of biological and mechanical systems is generally on-site work.

What's the difference between your O&M service and an AMC?

AMC focuses on scheduled equipment servicing and preventive maintenance. O&M covers the ongoing daily operation of the plant itself, dosing decisions, process monitoring, and adjustments, which is a different (though complementary) scope of work.

Can O&M help if my plant is already struggling with compliance?

Often yes. A significant share of compliance issues we see come from operational gaps, incorrect dosing, missed sludge wasting, unmonitored process drift, rather than equipment failure, and these are exactly what a proper O&M service is designed to catch and correct.

Do you train our existing staff, or only provide your own operators?

Both are options. We can provide our own trained operators for full day-to-day management, or work alongside and train your existing facility team, depending on what fits your operational setup.

How quickly can O&M support start after a plant is commissioned?

O&M can begin immediately at commissioning, and starting then is actually preferable, since the plant's biological system needs close attention in its first weeks of operation, which is exactly when operational mistakes have the most lasting impact.

COMMON INQUIRIES

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. What is a MBBR Media?

Moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) is a type of wastewater treatment process that was first invented by Prof. Hallvard Ødegaard at Norwegian University of Science and Technology in the late 1980s. For more detail call us on 8802624956

Q2. What is a digester tank?

The wet anaerobic digestion process is applied to liquid waste streams that are conveyable by liquid pumping. Sometimes wet systems are called Low Solids AD (LSAD). The Wet AD process can be done in reactors of two main configurations, continuously stirred tank reactors (CSTR) and plug flow reactors.

Q3. Which air pollutant is produced in anaerobic decomposition of organic matter?

Methane is the largest natural source of hydrocarbons. It's produced by the anaerobic decomposition of organic matter in bodies of water. -Trees and plants produce most of the remaining natural VOC's called terpenes. Volatile Organic Compounds - VOCs -Petroleum is the key source of man-made VOC pollution.

Q4. What is a sewage treatment plant?

The Sewage Treatment Plant process is similar to the way that a Septic Tank works but mechanical components provide a process to help break down solids to produce a cleaner, more environmentally friendly effluent.

Q5. What is the tertiary treatment of sewage?

Tertiary treatment is the final cleaning process that improves wastewater quality before it is reused, recycled or discharged to the environment. The treatment removes remaining inorganic compounds, and substances, such as the nitrogen and phosphorus.
